Due to the PPE shortage, we will be instituting a one-time temporary fee of $10. We hope to remove this fee as soon as the supply chain normalizes!
aerosol control
The biggest concern in the dental field is the aerosolization of saliva as we work. To reduce this risk, the dentist and dental hygienists are all using strong intraoral suctions. We have invested in a variety of devices to tailor our patients' needs and comfort.
medical grade air purifiers
Air cleanliness is crucial in the prevention of COVID transmission. In every operatory, we have invested in commercial medical grade air purifiers from Surgically Clean Air. These purifiers utilize 6 stage of filtration, including a HEPA filter and carbon filter, to remove particles down to 0.1 micron. Additionally, there is an internal UV-C light that will kill bacteria and viruses. The Surgically Clean Air units can move huge volumes of air quietly and are capable of cleaning every ounce of our operatories in 2.5 minutes.
There are air purifiers in every room of our office, including the bathroom!
disinfectant fogging
We have always disinfected all surfaces of our operatories between patients. For extra prevention, we have started to fog the rooms with hypochlorous acid. This is electrolyzed salt water and smells like chlorine bleach. It is actually more effective than chlorine bleach, yet non-toxic, non-corrosive, and non-mutagenic.
anti-microbial rinse
Prior to your cleanings or dental work, you will be asked to rinse for one minute with an anti-microbial rinse.
